The
"gadget" on the front of their tractor is used about
1-4 times/yr - depending on conditions - to knock down the cover
crop and till the soil. Cutting about 4-6" deep, the sensors
and articulated heads allow the tiller to avoid the vine rootstalks,
while still getting underneath the vines.
